2023 christmas cards support edge housing
It’s Midsummer and, although Christmas is still 6 months away, the Holywell Press elves are busy preparing for the festive season. Personalised and Company Christmas card design and printing in 2023 will once again raise money for local homeless charity, Edge Housing.
We don’t like to be too smug, but our Christmas cards have already been designed and are ready for printing! Can we help you get ahead of the curve and prep for a Merry Christmas 2023?
charity christmas cards
This year, we are again producing Christmas cards in partnership with Oxford-based homeless charity, Edge Housing. When you order personalised Christmas cards from Holywell, you can feature the Edge Housing logo and make a donation – helping them with their mission of offering a home, hope, and a future to Oxford’s homeless.
As one of Edge Housing’s Corporate Ambassadors, we’re fortunate to be able to support the charity’s work in several ways. The first and most obvious is that we print for them – from their annual impact report to pull-up event banners.
We’re also very lucky to have been able to offer one of their residents a job in our factory. Andrew had previous experience in print finishing and joined our team on a part-time basis in 2022. This is giving him a safe and supported platform to return to the world of work and re-establish his independence.
could you support edge housing?
Edge Housing has strong relationships with a number of other local organisations, each of which supports them in its own unique way. For example,
- Oxford’s Courtyard by Marriott has provided a venue for Edge team days, donated pillows and towels for residents, run team building days decorating and gardening at Edge properties, and organised a netwalking event to fundraise and raise awareness of Edge’s work.
- Stagecoach Oxfordshire will be providing a bus and driver to take residents and support workers on a day trip to Bournemouth this July.
- Bon Appetit provides catering for Edge events, and may, in future, provide a sales outlet for the apple juice made by Edge residents
Edge Housing currently operates eight properties in Oxford, including a women-only house and a recovery house. Here residents are given a real home and help to rebuild their lives for the long term. Plans for the future include expanding services outside of the city and discussions are well underway to open its next house in Abingdon later this year.
If you’d like to find out more about Edge Housing or feel you could support the charity either through donations or by becoming a Corporate Ambassador, please contact Sue Edridge.
