Last week, Holywell Press invited customers and friends to celebrate the installation of its newest litho printing press, a Heidelberg Speedmaster CX-75.

The evening celebration enabled clients to get up close and personal with the new lithographic press and learn more about the advantages it brings, including:

• Faster turnaround of litho printing
• Same-day and more affordable lithographic printing
• Litho printing on shorter runs
• Sharper, more vibrant images – even when printing on uncoated or recycled paper
• High-quality printing with less waste.

 

Outside Holywell’s factory, party guests kept warm by braziers and enjoyed live music, courtesy of rising star Hugo Burrows (Managing Director, Ben Burrows’ son), and delicious artisan wood-fired pizza provided by White Horse Box Pizza.

The evening was particularly special for the Holywell team as it brought together three generations of its owners, the Burrows family – the current Managing Director, Ben Burrows; his parents, Peter and Susan Burrows, who retired from the business in 2000; and Ben’s son, Oli Burrows, who joined the Oxford printing company in early 2021.

Guests left the party Christmas-ready, with a selection of Christmas cards, wrapping paper, and gift tags, showcasing original designs by Holywell’s talented graphic designers, and printed on both coated and uncoated Carbon Captured paper with the new lithographic press.
