Holywell design new identity for the relaunch of The Sudanese Programme as a registered charity
When the Sudanese Programme wanted to produce a Book of Record commemorating 20 years of organising workshops and conferences to further knowledge and understanding of Sudan and South Sudan they turned to Holywell after a recommendation from the Middle East Centre for whom we also designed a new logo.
The Programme was so pleased with the publication that when they relaunched as a registered charity they again turned to the Press to produce a new identity to include a new logo, branding, stationery and website.
Various ideas were considered for the logo, including a device with an egret (common in Sudan) but eventually it was decided the logo should incorporate a map of Sudan including the border between Sudan and South Sudan. The colours adopted are evocative of the landscapes of the two countries from the lush green and blue of the Nile and its banks to the desert sands.
